When a prospective student athlete takes the SAT or the ACT, he/she must specify a specific code to have the test score sent directly to the NAIA for student athlete processing. The Test Code for the NAIA Eligibility Centre is 9876.
You also receive four free score reports every time you register for the SAT. It is highly recommend that you take advantage of these reports, as additional reports are subject to a fee.
Students should be sending in transcripts to the Eligibility Centre upon graduation from high school in order for the student file to be complete and eligibility to be finalized.
This is the responsibility of the student to follow through.
Be official, this means the transcript must have a seal and signature of the high school official, in a school official envelope
Come directly from the school. Showing that a school official was the last person to handle the transcript. Faxed copies will not be accepted as official
Where are the transcripts sent: NAIA Eligibility Center PO Box 15340 Kansas City, MO 64106
Eligibility Centre Process
Once the online registration, test scores and final transcript has been received, an NAIA Eligibitiy Centre personnel will review the materials and determine eligibility.
Priority is given to those students already short listed by coaches.
NOTE: Students who finish their Grade 11 year with an overall GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and have at least an SAT score of 860, can receive an early eligibility decision. Those students should request their high school transcripts through a high school official ant the end of their Grade 11 year.
